At left are links to sites that illustrate the work of some of our favorite Architects and Artists. The work ranges primarily from the 1870s to the 1930s, a period when regional styles, decorative detail and hand craftsmanship flourished. Although we've titled this list "The Aesthetic Movement" it actually encompasses many varied but related styles from the United States and Europe. And, the reason we've included these particular architects is simply that we like their work. We hope your exploration of these links will lead to the serendipitous discovery of some new styles and architects. We add links to this page whenever we find them - so go ahead and bookmark it - and come back again. We've moved our list of Related Resources, Contemporary Craftsmen and Sympathetic Products to a new Craftsmen Links page since the list was getting so long. Take a look there to find sources for your current projects. About Us Felhandler/Steeneken Architects is an architectural firm with offices in New York and Los Angeles.
